Morzine is easy to reach by train so why not make your journey part of your holiday! It is a wonderful relaxing way to get to the Alps, avoiding stressful cramped airports and planes and arriving at Cluses' sleepy mountain town train station where you can get the bus or hire a car for the final beautiful half hour trip up the twisty mountain roads to Morzine.

There are many variations on the theme including spending a night in Paris on the way - but an example of a quick and relaxing train journey would be to leave London at 9am, arriving Cluses at 5.30pm the same day. At Cluses you could catch the bus (see our transfers page) or hire a car with Europcar which has an office right next to the train station.
